Indigo Eriksen is a Writing and Rhetoric doctoral student at George Mason University whose research examines strategies for dismantling white supremacy. She also works as a Professor of English at Northern Virginia Community College.

Eriksen’s scholarship extends from scholarly nonfiction in composition studies, to creative poetry and nonfiction. For example, she recently shared her poetry works in an event called “Dystopian Love Stories,” and in an earlier event titled, “The Translated World: Reading and Discussion on Art and Translation,” read her own poetry while a student played violin music, in interpreting Eriksen’s reading. In an article co-written with Breana Bayraktar, they examined multilingual learner’s experiences with labor-based grading.
