Welcome to the Virginia Community Writing Collaborative
The VCWC is a partnership-minded website, where we share resources for understanding, growing, and engaging with community and public writing. If you are a student, writer, community literacy practitioner or advocate, researcher, organization – or more – we hope that you will find our website useful!
We are located in Virginia, as are several of our partner institutions. Despite having the word Virginia in our title, we hope to expand the reach of our website to national and international audiences.
This site began in the fall of 2023, and continues to grow! Our website is participatory in nature. Have an event? Tell us about it, so we can add it to our calendar! Have a syllabus or instructional materials you believe others would find beneficial? Please send them our way, and we can add it to our resource repository pages! We welcome your community and public engagement expertise!
